Council offers the opportunity to light up selected buildings and public spaces in support of major events, cultural celebrations, and awareness campaigns.

Please note: Council reserves the right to use its lighting assets during a booked period or to cancel bookings at its discretion.
Council does not light up buildings in response to world events.
To ensure a smooth process:
Lighting displays are approved on a one-time basis. Future events require a new application.
Display duration is determined by Council and generally limited to a maximum of one month
There is no cost to apply for lighting of Council facilities.
In the event of a power outage or maintenance issue, Council will aim to restore the lighting as soon as possible. Delays may occur, particularly on weekends.
