Community Picnic - Glenwood
Council is excited to announce a series of free Community Picnics aimed at fostering unity and resilience within our neighbourhoods.
These picnics are jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
The goal is to bring people together and build community strength and resilience.
Each event will feature food stalls, artisan workshops, and live entertainment.
Mark your calendar and come along!
Where: Glenwood Community Hall, Pepper Road, Glenwood
When: Saturday, 9 March 2024 from 1-4pm

Artist workshops:
- Nancy Brown – Screen Printing
- Zela Bissett – Water Colour
- Jo Williams – Community Canvas
All the workshops are free to join.
Screen Printing and Community Canvas are available any time between 1 and 4pm; there's no need to register for specific times – just drop in whenever you like!
For the Watercolour workshops, they start every hour on the hour at 1, 2, and 3pm.
