Fishing
Each year, the Fraser Coast Fish Stocking Association stock Lake Lenthall with fingerlings.
Since 1984, almost 450,000 fingerlings have been released into the lake including: barramundi, Australian bass, golden perch (yellow belly) and silver perch.
A Stocked Impoundment Permit (SIP) is required to fish at Lake Lenthall. SIPs are a requirement by the Queensland Government for fishing in all stocked impoundments in Queensland.
Fraser Coast Regional Council does not manage this requirement.
