Council renews leases with community groups

The Fraser Coast Regional Council will renew 10-year leases with the Munna Creek Hall and Recreation Association, the Burrum Heads Amateur Fishing Club and the Maryborough Australian Football Club.

“The community groups and sporting clubs across the Fraser Coast do a fantastic job,” Councillor James Hansen said.

“The facilities, fixtures and events they organise ensure that the Fraser Coast is an active, thriving community as well as attract visitors to the region which helps bolster our economy.

“I thank the volunteers for their hard work and dedication.”
