Lamington Bridge Closure
Council is preparing for the Mary River to flood and inundate the Lamington Bridge today (Saturday 08/01/22).
Lamington Bridge will be closed from 10.00am today.
The current forecast is that the river will exceed the major flood level of 9 metres sometime tomorrow. This is the equivalent height of approximately 4M above the Lamington Bridge.
Residents should continue to listen to weather warnings provided on ABC radio and provided through the Bureau of Meteorology website and the Council’s Disaster Dashboard Site.
