Council resolves to instigate legal proceedings against dog owner

Fraser Coast Regional Council has resolved to commence legal action against Mr George Cookley for breaches of animal management laws following a fatal dog attack in Maryborough in 2021.
As this is a legal matter, Council will make no further statements on this matter.
