Public Notice of Water Restrictions

Pursuant to Section 43 of the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008, Fraser Coast Regional Council provides notice of the following changes to water restrictions applicable to Fraser Coast water supply areas with the following postal codes: 4655 (Hervey Bay, Toogoom), 4662 (Torbanlea), 4659 (Howard, Burrum Heads) and 4650 (Maryborough, Tiaro).

Level 2 Water Restrictions take effect on 29 March 2021 and are detailed below:

• Rain water tanks connected to or topped up by potable water supply are subject to the current water restrictions.
• All breaches of water restrictions will be investigated by Fraser Coast Council and penalties for non-compliance may apply.
