Fraser Coast CommuniTea Set

The Fraser Coast CommuniTea Project is a community-driven initiative coordinated by Council to help local communities reconnect and recover after the natural disasters of 2022. It is funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

With the theme, “A cup of tea can solve anything”, the CommuniTea Project blends art, storytelling, and community bonding to support community recovery and reduce social isolation. This initiative celebrates resilience through shared moments and connection.

Artwork from the project’s workshops has been transformed into the Fraser Coast CommuniTea Set, symbolising the region’s diversity and strength. Each piece captures the community's journey and deep connection to the land, reflecting a spirit of resilience and unity.

The designs have been carefully painted onto the tea set, creating a visual story that celebrates the region’s identity. We invite you to join us in celebrating the unveiling of the Fraser Coast CommuniTea Set at two special showcase events.
