Afternoon and evening are the best times to visit Glenwood Park when a variety of wildlife visits, including kangaroos, wallabies, ducks and goannas. Glenwood Park is bordered by Gootchie Creek and Pepper Road, about 1km off the highway at the Arborten Road turnoff. The shady grounds are often used for social games and annual fun days.
The Annual Glenwood Swap Meet is held on the 3rd Saturday of August each year, with over 2000 people coming to the park to buy, sell goods and enjoy a variety concert. Facilities include a BBQ area, shelter, playground, sports oval and a community hall.
