Australia Day Community Breakfast and Games - Maryborough (2025)
Join the Rotary Club of Maryborough-Sunrise Inc.'s Australia Day Celebrations for a fantastic morning filled with good Aussie fun, great tunes and tasty tucker!
This cherished community tradition has been celebrated in Queens Park for over 20 years. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to join in the fun and laughter.
Start your day with a free bacon and egg roll from 7am (while supplies last) and enjoy a fun-filled morning of entertainment and activities.
Schedule of events:
- 7am: Kick off the day with a delicious community breakfast. Connect with neighbors, make new friends, and fuel up for the festivities ahead.
- 8am: Enjoy great entertainment by Jon Vea Vea and take part in traditional games such as egg and spoon races, thong throwing, sack races, and three-legged races. Fun for all ages!
- 9am: Don't miss the hilarious Celebrity Dummy Spit competition.
- 9.30am: Pause to honor our nation with the playing of the National Anthem and a flag-raising ceremony conducted by the Fraser District Scouts.
