Find a Frog in February

Hop along to the Frog Talk and Survey at Burrum Heads for an evening of learning and conservation.

The Frog Talk and Survey at Burrum Heads aims to raise awareness about frogs, their habitats, the threats they face, and how we can all contribute to their conservation and the health of our natural environment.

This event is part of Find a Frog in February (FFF), a citizen science program led by the Mary River Catchment Coordinating Committee to engage the community in protecting these vital species and their ecosystems.

Event schedule:

  • 5pm - 6.30pm: Workshop presented by Ollie Scully (Mary River Catchment Coordinating Committee)
  • 6.30pm - 7pm: Light supper provided
  • 7pm - late: Frog surveys in the local area. Please wear field clothes and bring a headlamp or torch.
