Boondall Bus Crash Memorial Service
All family and friends welcome
Join us at the Boondall Bus Memorial Stone on the City Hall lawn (Lennox Street side, near the fountain) as we gather to honour and remember all those affected by the Boondall bus crash, which occurred 30 years ago on October 24th, 1994.
The service will begin promptly at 10.00am. At 10.10am, twelve bell tolls will mark the time of the accident, paying tribute to those who lost their lives.
The service will be led by Pastor Chris Foley and will feature hymns performed by the combined choirs of St Mary’s Primary School and St Mary’s College.
During the service, there will be an opportunity to lay wreaths or flowers in memory of loved ones.
Please be mindful of the time required for parking, as the anniversary coincides with market day.
Limited covered seating will be available for those who need it.
In the event of bad weather, the service will take place inside City Hall.
After the service, family, friends, and those affected are welcome to stay and share memories inside City Hall.
