Two branches reopening on Fridays

Hervey Bay and Maryborough libraries will be reopening on Fridays from November 6.
The return of volunteers to the libraries to help with reshelving and other tasks has facilitated the extension of opening hours.
The two branches will be open from 9am to 4pm on Fridays and COVID-safe precautions remain in place.
The new opening hours for Hervey Bay and Maryborough from next week are:
Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 4pm and Saturday from 9am to noon.
Opening hours at Tiaro, Howard and Burrum Heads branches remain unchanged:
Tuesday to Thursday from 9am to 4pm and Saturday from 9am to noon.
