Artist expressions of interest - Bronze sculptures
Council seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified sculptor(s) to produce five (5) bronze artworks. The artworks will be small to medium in size and sit on a concrete plinth to be situated outdoors.
The selected bronze sculptor(s) will be required to liaise and work closely with Councils Arts and Cultural Officers. The artist will be provided with reference material/concept artwork and asked to develop a work plan prior to commencing development of the bronze sculpture.
Once the plan has been approved, the artist will be given approval to proceed. The bronze artist must provide regular updates to Council’s Arts and Cultural Officers. This includes progress photos.
*Applicants are invited to provide:
- Examples of previous work
- Artists CV
- Cost of previous artworks
- An estimate for the production of 2 bronze sculptures, approx. 40cm x 20cm.
(This is to include all costs associated with producing a finished bronze artwork, including design, production and mount considerations. Installation should be excluded from the price as a local contractor will manage installation).
The artwork must be completed and delivered by: 22 March, 2021.
