Access car and motorcycle manuals online for free

Automotive enthusiasts will have hundreds of car and motorcycle repair manuals at their fingertips in an instant thanks to the introduction of Haynes Manuals AllAccess by Fraser Coast Libraries.

Fraser Coast regional librarian Tara Webb said the repair manuals from a huge range of makes and models were available for free to library members.

She said the online repair manual library included up-to-date content such as common repairs, routine maintenance and servicing procedures.

“People can access the online repair manuals on computers at the library or their home computers using their membership number,” Ms Webb said.

“Anyone who is not a member has two options to join the libraries for free.

“They can join in person at their nearest branch with their Driver Licence, or another form of identification and proof of current address, or they can join online and begin using the online library within 1.5 hours by entering their details at: catalogue.frasercoast.qld.gov.au/Montage/Join.aspx

“If new online members want to start borrowing physical items such as books, DVDs and magazines, they just need to pop into one of our five branches and show their identification.”
