Lines in the Sand festival postponed due to COVID-19 lockdowns
A Fraser Coast festival for readers and writers is being postponed due to interstate COVID-19 lockdowns.
Fraser Coast Regional Council regional librarian Tara Webb said TV personality Annabel Crabb and bestselling authors Rosalie Ham and Kerry McGinnis were being rescheduled for the 2022 Lines in the Sand Festival.
“With the ongoing lockdowns in New South Wales and Victoria, it will not be possible for the key speakers to appear this year,” she said.
“As a result, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Lines in the Sand Festival that had been scheduled for 24 – 26 September 2021.
“While it is disappointing the festival has not been able to go ahead now for the last two years due to COVID-19, other Lines in the Sand author talks and workshops will continue throughout the year.”
