Flood Power Outages

Ergon will reconnect the CBD traffic lights and power to properties progressively, as it is safe to do so.

Crews have begun site inspections in the Maryborough CBD they ask that people be patient.

Safety is a key priority, the exclusion zone in the Maryborough CBD is being reviewed this morning. Council and police are on site to allow business owners access to their premises when and where possible.  

Crews are working as quickly as possible. There will be some flood-affected areas that will take longer because they can't be accessed yet.

IMPORTANT RECONNECTION REQUIREMENTS: If your property has been inundated you will need to get a licensed electrician to check your switchboard and any electrical fittings that were wet or submerged. If your home or business is damaged preventing the reconnection of power, have a licensed electrical contractor repair electrical damage. Notify Ergon when repairs are complete so power can be restored.
