Closure of Road 518 - Pialba Beachfront Tourist Caravan Park Redevelopment

Council, at its meeting held on 22 May 2024, approved the closure of Road 518 in accordance with section 69, 2(B) of the Local Government Act to all classes of traffic of a particular class (Including motor vehicles and pedestrians) other than guests of the Pialba caravan park, contractors, emergency services and utility providers.
Road 518 is a Council controlled road reserve passing through the Pialba Caravan Park. For a number of years, access has been restricted by the caravan park boom gates at the entry in the east and the fencing and Esplanade path to the west. Through traffic passes past the Pialba Caravan Park via the Esplanade.
