Boondall bus crash memorial service

Today was a day of reflection and remembrance in Maryborough as the community gathered for a memorial service to honour those impacted by the Boondall bus crash 30 years ago.
The crash was one of Queensland’s worst road tragedies, claiming the lives of 12 Maryborough residents and injuring 39 others.
Wreaths and flowers were laid, with Pastor Chris Foley leading the service. Hymns from the combined choirs of St Mary's Primary School- Maryborough QLD and St Mary's College Maryborough added a touching tribute.
The service offered a moment to remember the victims, survivors, first responders, and everyone affected by this tragic event on October 24, 1994.
