Community Recovery Hub at Hervey Bay Library – opening tomorrow

The Community Recovery Hub at 161 Old Maryborough Rd will open from tomorrow (12 March 2025), operating 9am to 4pm, 7 days a week until further notice.
Services include:
- Emotional support and psychological first aid
- Assistance with State Government Personal Hardship grant applications
- Information and advice from various agencies on how to manage a safe and successful recovery
- Financial Assistance
A range of disaster assistance, including emergency payments, is available to impacted residents.
Affected residents in activated areas can check eligibility, payments, and apply via www.qld.gov.au/disasterhelp or by calling the Queensland Community Recovery Hotline on 1800 173 349.
From tomorrow, support will be available from some agencies, with all agencies expected to be on board by Thursday morning (13 March 2025).
