Approved inspection program - Notice inspection period 1

Fraser Coast Regional Council will start an Approved Inspection Program under section 134 of the Local Government Act 2009 to monitor compliance with the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008.

This applies to premises in the Maryborough and Granville areas.

The program will start on 19th October 2020 and continue for two months concluding on 18th December 2020.

The object of the inspection program is to monitor compliance with the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008 and in particular identify the illegal discharge of stormwater into the sewerage system. Council will issue notices to property owners for illegal stormwater discharge to sewer.
