The public amenities building near the soccer fields in Tinana Recreation Reserve is being refurbished to improve its durability, cleanliness, and user experience.
Why
The upgrades will make the facility easier to maintain and clean, more resilient to vandalism, and more pleasant for users.
When
Work will start the week of 20 January 2025 and is expected to finish by mid-February 2025, weather permitting.
How much will it cost
The project is funded by the State Government’s Works for Queensland Program and will cost $31,000.
Community impact
During the refurbishment, a temporary toilet will be available, and another amenities block is located nearby (located in the reserve near the athletics fields).
